Senior Product Manager at Civitas Learning

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as we expand our Compass AI initiatives, focusing on the next generation of autonomous agents and adaptive workflows that support academic advising, financial aid, and student wellbeing.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. In this high-visibility position, you will work closely with our VP of Product to transform our AI strategy into reality. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial discovery and validation with our institutional customers to collaborating with our engineering and data science teams to ship capabilities that make a measurable difference in student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the Compass AI product roadmap by translating strategic goals into well-defined, actionable work for our engineering and design teams.
• Lead structured discovery sessions with advisors and enrollment staff to validate AI concepts and ensure our tools address real-world needs in higher education.
• Manage the expansion of our AI agent library and integrate new technologies, such as LLMs and workflow automation, into the broader Civitas platform.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, specifically with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Direct experience working with AI/ML products, including LLM-powered tools or autonomous agent systems, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Deep familiarity with the current AI landscape, including model developments and agent frameworks, paired with the ability to translate these trends into practical product features.
• Proficiency with product operations and documentation tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana, or Confluence.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain technical AI concepts to diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 USD. As a member of our team, you will also enjoy the flexibility of a remote work environment.
