At ICEYE, we are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the New Space industry. Based in Finland and operating internationally, our team brings together experts from over 57 countries to design, build, and operate a unique constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar satellites. These satellites allow us to capture high-quality imagery of Earth regardless of cloud cover or darkness, providing critical data to sectors like maritime, defense, and disaster management. The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Solutions team, specifically focusing on our natural catastrophe products. This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the future of how we quantify and mitigate the impact of natural disasters. You will act as the bridge between our customers and our cross-functional teams, including analytics, engineering, and sales. Your primary goal is to define the product direction and execute a roadmap that turns complex geospatial data into scalable, cloud-based solutions that drive real business growth.
A day in the life
- You will act as the voice of the customer, translating complex user needs into clear product requirements while ensuring our development teams stay aligned with our core mission.
- You will manage the product execution roadmap, prioritizing the backlog and making strategic trade-offs to ensure we deliver high-impact features efficiently.
- You will collaborate closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate advanced technologies into our product line, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience in product management, particularly with products that rely on novel technology. You possess a strong technical background, likely in computer science, engineering, or data science, which allows you to communicate effectively with our expert teams. You are comfortable working with geospatial data and have a proven track record of transitioning research and development projects into successful, production-ready products. You are a clear communicator who thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment, and you are fluent in English.
