Senior Product Manager at Parent

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact position for an experienced professional who thrives at the intersection of product strategy and financial systems. You will work in a remote capacity, collaborating with partners across the globe to shape the future of our billing platform.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of the vision and roadmap for our billing and invoicing system, guiding the project from initial concept to final delivery.
• Translate intricate accounting and financial requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for our engineering team.
• Partner closely with our finance, legal, and compliance departments to ensure every feature meets rigorous standards for tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory alignment.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep understanding of financial operations and a proven ability to manage complex product lifecycles. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the fintech or SaaS sectors.
• A strong background in finance, accounting, or ERP systems is essential.
• Hands-on experience working with payment gateways or billing engines like Stripe, Chargebee, Recurly, or Zuora.
• A solid grasp of subscription business models and financial operations, including revenue recognition and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
