At Planned, we provide an event management platform that helps companies simplify how they book meetings and events. We give teams the control they need to maximize their budgets while making event planning seamless. We already support over 200 companies across North America, including industry leaders like Google, Samsung, Airbnb, PwC, and L'Oréal. If you are a natural leader who loves to out-plan and outperform the competition, we want to hear from you.
Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in Canada. You will be a key player in our product organization, taking ownership of major initiatives from the initial discovery phase all the way through to final execution.
Your impact
- You will take full ownership of a product problem space, writing briefs and driving execution across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
- You will act as the primary voice of the user, conducting regular interviews and UX research to define intuitive user journeys and flows.
- You will help refine our internal product development workflows to ensure our product managers, designers, and engineers work together as efficiently as possible.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep background in product management and a genuine passion for building great software. We are looking for the following qualities:
- Extensive professional experience in product management, ideally within a fast-paced startup or software environment.
- A sharp problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make difficult trade-offs that prioritize user value.
- A strong sense of design and a keen eye for detail when it comes to user interactions.
- A solid technical understanding of complex web and desktop application architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate insights clearly to the entire company.
- Fluency in English.
Even if you do not meet every single requirement listed, we encourage you to apply if you are passionate about what we are building at Planned. Tell us why you would be a great fit for our team.
