We are thrilled that you are interested in joining Pachama. We use artificial intelligence and satellite imagery to help companies invest in nature with confidence. By providing continuous insights into how forests sequester carbon and support local communities, we empower organizations to track their environmental impact over time. We have already evaluated hundreds of nature-based carbon projects and originated our own initiatives across Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. Our work supports climate leaders like Shopify, Salesforce, and Nespresso, and we are backed by prominent investors such as Breakthrough Energy Ventures and the Amazon Climate Pledge Fund. If you are passionate about the planet and want to help us restore millions of hectares of land, we would love to meet you.
What you'll be doing
- You will define the product strategy for our Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification program to ensure our carbon project origination aligns with our broader business goals.
- You will lead the end-to-end development of new features, working alongside forest scientists, data scientists, and engineers to bring customer-ready solutions to the market.
- You will act as a subject matter expert and advocate for our solutions within carbon market standards bodies to help shape the future of verification protocols.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including a strong background in product management.
- Familiarity with carbon markets, DMRV systems, or related environmental technologies.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and a track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, though an advanced degree is considered a plus.
- Fluency in English.
- A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and a desire to drive meaningful climate impact.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting our team members through a flexible work environment. This position offers the following benefit:
- Remote work flexibility, provided you are based in the United States within North American time zones.
