At Preligens, we build advanced AI software that automatically processes massive volumes of data from satellites, infrared sensors, electromagnetic signals, and open-source streams to detect unusual activity at strategic sites. Founded in 2016 by two French engineers with a passion for aerospace and artificial intelligence, we now employ more than 250 people, two-thirds of whom work in R&D across software development, machine learning, data science, and AI research. Our mission is to strengthen global security by delivering reliable, cutting-edge intelligence tools, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of our AI production platform.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager on a Full Time basis. In this hybrid position you will own the vision and roadmap for our internal AI Factory platform, working closely with engineering, data science, and operations teams to turn advanced research into production-grade tools that our analysts rely on every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Build deep expertise across Preligens’ business areas, the detector design process, the AI tooling and MLOps market, and current best practices in technical, ethical, and regulatory domains.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that balances user needs, make-or-buy decisions, long-term maintenance, and security, traceability, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams through regular rituals, act as the recognized internal reference for the platform, and represent Preligens’ expertise at client meetings and industry events.
Requirements
- At least six years of relevant experience as a Product Manager, Head of Product, Project Manager, or Software Architect on developer-facing platforms.
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence and prior exposure to software development for technical users.
- Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, analytical thinking, and the ability to synthesize and present complex topics both in writing and orally.
- Professional fluency in French and English.
- Eligibility to obtain a French defense security clearance is mandatory.
Location
This role is based in France and follows a hybrid work model.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive and equitable salary, a minimum of 33 days of paid time off each year, and equal second-parent leave of 10 weeks for the first child. Team members enjoy up to three days of remote work per week, dedicated Thursday afternoons for personal projects and skill development with monthly high-level speakers, and tailored professional and personal development programs.
