Visby Medical is a well-funded, late-stage biotech startup on a mission to make infectious disease testing faster, more accurate, and accessible to everyone. We have developed the world’s first single-use PCR platform, a breakthrough technology that is actively changing how infectious diseases are diagnosed and treated. We are looking for talented individuals who want to help us redefine the industry standard.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This is a senior-level position perfect for someone with a background in medical devices who is ready to own high-impact projects from the initial concept phase all the way through to market launch. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our instrument-free PCR platform within the United States.
What will you do?
- Lead the development of product roadmaps for our sexual and respiratory health categories by collaborating with cross-functional partners in engineering, clinical, and regulatory teams.
- Translate complex market research and customer feedback into actionable product requirements that solve real user pain points.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including financial modeling, pricing strategies, and go-to-market execution, to ensure our products deliver both clinical value and commercial success.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in product management, engineering, or a related field, specifically within the medical device space. We are looking for someone who speaks English fluently and brings the following qualifications:
- Five to seven years of professional experience in product management or engineering, with a proven track record of launching successful products.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in data analytics, market research, and project management, combined with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Clinical acumen or prior knowledge of infectious disease diagnostics is highly valued.
- A self-directed mindset with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to engage with partners and customers.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary range of $134,000 to $167,000 USD, depending on your specific experience and qualifications. In addition to your compensation, you will have access to a variety of benefits designed to support your well-being and future:
- A 401k plan with a company match.
- The opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values remote work flexibility where appropriate for specific tasks.
- Comprehensive health insurance options and a company-funded HSA.
- Access to a supportive culture recognized for its commitment to a healthy workforce.
