At Homebound, we are on a mission to make building a home accessible to everyone through the power of technology. Our team of experts in real estate, construction, design, and tech is working to fix the inefficiencies that have long plagued the residential building industry. We have raised 150 million dollars from top-tier investors like Google and Khosla Ventures, and we are currently scaling our operations across Texas, Colorado, and Florida. We are proud to have been recognized as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2023, and we would love for you to help us build the future of housing.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position based in Dallas, where you will be embedded directly within our field operations. You will serve as a vital bridge between our construction teams and our product development department, ensuring that the software we build truly solves the problems faced by those working on the ground.
What will you do?
- Act as our primary advocate in the Dallas market by embedding yourself with field teams to gain a deep understanding of their daily operations and challenges.
- Drive software adoption by leading training sessions, managing change, and identifying specific blockers that prevent our teams from getting the most out of our tools.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to translate your firsthand observations into actionable product requirements and meaningful feature improvements.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have at least three years of product management experience, ideally with some exposure to the residential construction industry. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working autonomously and enjoys being out in the field rather than sitting behind a desk all day. You need to be a strong communicator who can build trust with everyone from superintendents to executives. Proficiency in analyzing adoption data and diagnosing friction points is essential, as is the ability to influence others without needing formal authority. Familiarity with construction software like Procore or BuildPro is a significant advantage. Please note that this role requires you to be in our Dallas office at least three days per week and frequently out on job sites.
What's in it for you?
We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single qualification listed. We will be accepting applications for this position until July 18, 2025. While our salary ranges are determined by your specific location and experience, your recruiter will provide you with all the necessary details regarding compensation and our comprehensive benefits package during the interview process.
