What is this role?
We are searching for a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position perfect for someone with extensive experience in product management who wants to take ownership of our payments ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our platform handles transactions and rewards, ensuring that our technology provides real value to both restaurant partners and their customers.
What will you do?
- Define the strategic vision for our payments product area and execute a roadmap that drives growth and enhances our platform.
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to design, develop, and launch innovative payment features.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to keep Blackbird at the forefront of restaurant payment solutions.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have at least 6 years of experience in product management, specifically within payments systems for either consumer or B2B markets. We are looking for someone who understands the complexities of card processing, banking-as-a-service, and the regulatory landscape. Because we operate in a fast-paced environment, you must be comfortable working closely with engineering teams to ship products from the ground up. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be able to communicate complex strategies to executive leadership effectively. Familiarity with API development, digital wallets, and blockchain technology is highly valued.
