At Signifyd, our product management team is expanding, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Checkout APIs and decisioning roadmap. We specialize in revenue protection solutions, and you will play a vital role in ensuring our platform remains robust and high-performing for our retail partners. You will collaborate closely with our data science, implementation, and engineering teams to translate customer needs into seamless, scalable technical solutions.
About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position for a Senior Product Manager focused on our Commerce Checkout and API Platform. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our core checkout and transaction APIs. Your primary goal is to bridge the gap between technical requirements and user needs, ensuring that our platform provides a top-tier experience for developers and retailers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our core API suite, including Checkout and Transaction processes, while ensuring they remain interoperable and adhere to industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap and backlog that balances new feature development with essential maintenance and technical improvements.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders, using data-driven insights to define KPIs and measure the overall success of our platform integrations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in technical product management and a deep understanding of the commerce ecosystem. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in product-specific roles within the payments, commerce, or identity domains.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing complex platform products, particularly those involving intricate data pipelines or integrations.
- Strong technical literacy, including the ability to perform data analysis using SQL and various BI tools.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A deep sense of developer empathy, allowing you to design flexible APIs that solve real-world customer problems.
Location
This role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
