Picture a small, tight-knit group of engineers who have spent years building the very tools they now offer to others. At Lightci we create full engineering teams and ship production software for names like Google, Meta, Brex, and Walmart, while also helping Fortune 500 companies scale through staff augmentation and executive search. Our newest challenge sits at the crossroads of artificial intelligence and telecommunications, and we need a steady hand to guide that work from first idea to customer delivery.
The opportunity
As Senior Product Manager, AI you will own the product vision for an emerging suite of AI-driven solutions aimed at telecommunications providers. Your mandate is to translate complex technical possibilities into clear customer value, set the roadmap, and steer cross-functional squads through each release. In doing so you will help position Lightci as a recognized leader in the Telco space while working entirely from wherever you call home in North America.
A day in the life
- You start by reviewing usage data and customer interviews, then refine the backlog so the next sprint focuses on the highest-impact AI features.
- Mid-morning you join engineers and data scientists to align on model performance targets and decide which experiments move forward this week.
- In the afternoon you share progress with stakeholders, adjust timelines based on new regulatory guidance, and close the day by capturing lessons that will shape the following quarter’s roadmap.
Who you are
You bring at least five years of product management experience, including time spent delivering AI-powered products, ideally inside the telecommunications sector. You are fluent in machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics and know how these tools solve real Telco problems. You have guided Agile teams through multi-quarter initiatives, kept projects on schedule and on budget, and used data to steer every major decision. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s is welcomed. You communicate clearly, earn trust across disciplines, and stay calm when priorities shift quickly. English is the working language of our teams.
Why you'll love it here
You will enjoy the freedom of 100 percent remote work across North America, flexible hours that adapt to your life, and unlimited vacation so you can truly unplug. Our benefits package includes generous RRSP or 401k matching, performance bonuses, and quarterly or yearly team offsites that bring everyone together. We keep the structure flat, the feedback direct, and the focus on meaningful work that reaches millions of end users.
