About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will act as the dedicated designer for a cross-functional team focused on the student learning experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and curriculum specialists to build innovative software that makes a tangible difference in the lives of our users. As a generalist, you will own the end-to-end design strategy for your product area, contributing to everything from research and information architecture to visual design and prototyping.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for the student learning experience, including research, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define and build features that provide meaningful value to our students, teachers, and administrators.
- Drive improvements to our design tooling and processes while contributing to the growth and maintenance of our design system.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience working on an in-house product design team.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end design for complex projects that balance user needs with business goals.
- Strong proficiency in information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
- Experience working within an Agile environment alongside engineers and product managers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage deliverables with clear planning and timelines.
- A deep commitment to improving educational outcomes for K-12 students and educators.
Location
This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
