At Packmatic, we are on a mission to modernize the packaging industry by bringing it into the digital age and reducing its environmental impact. Our innovative platform has already helped numerous small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as large corporations, digitize their procurement processes while saving significant amounts of plastic. With a recent 15 million Euro Series A funding round led by top-tier venture capitalists and a high volume of weekly customer inquiries, we are scaling rapidly. If you are a hands-on, detail-oriented designer who wants to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, international startup environment, we would love to have you join our growing product team.

Key Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in our product team by applying a user-centered and pragmatic approach to design.
- Collaborate directly with our leadership team to define the product vision and act as a cross-functional advocate for our users.
- Simplify complex challenges to create intuitive user interfaces while maintaining and improving our design system and visual brand identity.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally within a product-focused organization.
- Native-level proficiency in German and fluency in English.
- Proven expertise in designing end-to-end product experiences for web applications using Figma.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset combined with the ability to grasp the big picture.
- Experience in complex B2B environments is considered a plus.
Location
This position is based in Berlin, Germany. You should be located in or near the city and have the ability to work from our office several days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
We believe in fostering a supportive and professional environment where every team member is valued. Our benefits include:
- A hybrid work model that offers flexibility between home and our Berlin office.
- The opportunity to work within a highly motivated, cross-functional team with significant personal freedom and ownership.
- A clear path for professional growth and development.
- The chance to contribute to an inspiring vision backed by leading investors.
