At Marco Polo, we build technology that helps people feel close to the people who matter most. Our private video chat app lets friends and family exchange messages on their own schedules, and millions already use it to stay connected without ads or data sales. We launched a subscription plan called Marco Polo Plus in 2020 to support this mission while keeping the core product free, and our fully remote team works across the US and Canada with a shared belief that lives flourish when relationships stay strong.
What you'll be doing
- Turn broad ideas into rapid experiments that test and improve acquisition, activation, monetization, and referral, measuring results and refining quickly based on what you learn.
- Identify opportunities to move key business metrics such as activation, monetization, and retention by refining features and experiences that enhance how users interact with the product.
- Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and fellow designers to move concepts from initial sketches through prototypes and into production, ensuring alignment and delivering results that support growth.
What you'll bring
- At least four years of experience designing consumer-facing products, ideally within growth-focused teams, with strong skills in UI/UX across mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
- Experience running A/B tests and conducting user research, along with the ability to use both qualitative insights and quantitative data to guide design decisions.
- Comfort working asynchronously in a remote-first environment, a habit of iterating quickly based on feedback, and clear communication through thoughtful prototypes and documentation.
- Fluency in English.
What you'll get
We offer a salary range of $135,000 to $165,000 per year along with equity compensation.
