The role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based in Australia, operating in a hybrid work environment. You will report to the Product Director and play a pivotal role in supporting our Shopping Experience, Growth, and Artists group. You will lead design direction across the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery to final delivery and iteration, while partnering closely with engineers and product managers to enhance the experience for both artists and customers.

Core responsibilities

• Conduct direct user research, including continuous discovery interviews and usability testing, to inform product strategy and direction.
• Lead multiple design streams by utilizing human-centered design methods to create responsive web interfaces that are both functional and delightful.
• Mentor fellow designers and champion design best practices across the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in product design and user experience within cross-functional teams. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Between 4 and 6 years of experience developing modern applications for responsive web, with a solid understanding of native mobile design conventions.
• A systematic approach to design that ensures high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with modern design tools for creating interfaces, user flows, and detailed prototypes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
• A creative problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in an environment that embraces ambiguity and rapid change.
• Fluency in English.
