Senior Product Designer at Fuellabs

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our globally distributed team at Fuel. We are building a high-performance blockchain operating system that pushes the boundaries of what is possible on Ethereum, utilizing our unique Fuel Virtual Machine and the Sway programming language to create a more scalable and efficient future for decentralized technology.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and redesign our application interfaces to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience for all users.
• Lead UX research initiatives and map out user journeys to identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate directly with product managers and engineering teams to translate concepts into functional designs.
• Develop and maintain a robust design system within Figma to improve team workflows.
• Analyze user feedback from various channels to proactively propose and implement design improvements.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups while iterating based on usability testing.

Must-haves

• At least 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, ideally within the fintech, banking, or Web3 sectors.
• Native-level proficiency in English with strong copywriting skills for creating clear, user-friendly interface text.
• Advanced expertise in Figma and experience managing comprehensive design systems.
• Solid grasp of UX research methodologies and the ability to map complex user journeys.
• A high degree of autonomy and the ability to make informed design decisions independently.
• Proven experience working alongside engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology, particularly regarding security, financial transactions, and digital wallets.
• A portfolio that demonstrates high-quality UI/UX design work.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in front-end development.
• Previous experience working on order books, perpetuals, or decentralized and centralized exchanges.
• Practical experience conducting user testing and utilizing analytics to drive design decisions.
