Whop is building a digital marketplace that functions as a farmers market for the internet. We enable users to establish storefronts, process payments, and foster meaningful connections with their customers. Our primary mission is to provide sustainable income opportunities for everyone, bridging the gap between commerce and community in the rapidly growing internet economy. Currently, our team of 70 people based in Brooklyn, New York, helps creators on our platform generate nearly $1 billion in annual revenue.
Key outcomes
- Design complex interactions that serve our diverse user base, including consumers, creators, and affiliates across web, iOS, and Android.
- Create functional and visually striking user interfaces that improve the overall experience for our customers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to prototype, iterate, and solve complex product challenges.
- Establish our design processes and contribute to the foundation of our team culture as our first on-site designer.
- Partner directly with our co-founders and high-velocity product teams to take ownership of key product surfaces.
- Mentor incoming designers as we scale our team to five members by the end of 2024.
Requirements
- Strong command of design fundamentals, including UI/UX, typography, and visual design.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- A proven history of shipping high-quality products at a fast pace.
- A self-starting mindset with a focus on simplifying complex problems and a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
We offer a target base salary of $170,000 to $200,000, complemented by a competitive equity package. Our benefits and perks include:
