Senior Product Designer at Formstack

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives by planning and facilitating meetings to uncover customer needs and product requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate business goals into high-quality user experiences.
• Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for various features.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and share research insights across the company.
• Maintain design consistency across all product experiences and stay current with industry trends.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a product design role.
• A degree in a relevant field like HCI or Human Factors, or equivalent practical work experience.
• Expert knowledge of design fundamentals, including visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Figma and Sketch.
• Extensive experience with user research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile design standards, including responsive design and accessibility guidelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with large-scale, complex design systems.
• Ability to work with front-end development tools or knowledge of React.js and React Native.
• Expertise in specialized areas such as motion design, illustration, or 3D modeling.
• Background in leading design sprints and facilitating cross-functional workshops.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, AR, or VR.
• A history of thought leadership within the design community through speaking or writing.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 USD per year, plus a potential annual bonus of up to 5%.
