Senior Product Designer at Mytos

Our team is a unique blend of former Dyson engineers and expert scientists, and we are looking for someone to help us lead the next phase of our growth from our office in the United Kingdom.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. As the founding member of our design team, you will hold a high-impact position where you have the autonomy to shape the future of our laboratory software. This is a senior-level role that requires a broad range of skills, as you will be responsible for everything from initial research and conceptualization to delivering polished, pixel-perfect interfaces.

What will you do?

• Lead our end-to-end design process by collaborating with founders and product teams to conduct research, create concepts, and perform testing.
• Solve complex challenges by applying human-centered design principles to create delightful, validated product experiences.
• Define and maintain our internal design systems to ensure that all company assets remain cohesive and professional.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a curious professional who learns new domains quickly and thrives in environments where you have significant decision-making agency. We are looking for a master of your craft who is highly proficient in Figma and understands how to apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods to validate your work. You should possess a deep understanding of interaction models, task flows, and screen design. While not required, we would love to hear from you if you have experience as a first designer at a startup, have a background in science, or possess the ability to contribute to our front-end codebase.
