We are Overjet, the world leader in dental AI. Thousands of dental providers and insurers already use our platform to deliver higher-quality care, and we continue to expand the possibilities of artificial intelligence in oral health. Our team builds new products, partnerships, and technologies at a rapid pace, and we are recognized by Fast Company, Forbes, LinkedIn, and Bloomberg for our innovation and workplace culture.
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to guide the design of our Practice products. In this role you will simplify intricate dental and insurance workflows, translate regulatory requirements into intuitive interfaces, and partner closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and clinical researchers. The position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring one to two days per week at our Palo Alto office.
Key outcomes
- Establish and promote Overjet’s design principles and practices across product teams.
- Plan and execute user research that directly shapes product direction and user experience.
- Transform complex dental-practice, insurance, and regulatory processes into clear, user-friendly solutions.
- Work side-by-side with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Clinical Researchers to define problems, create prototypes, and deliver refined experiences.
- Guide product teams in implementing design vision efficiently and consistently.
Requirements
- Five or more years of product design experience in B2B enterprise software, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates complete project ownership from research through delivery.
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design, competitor analysis, user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma for producing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Experience designing, conducting, and analyzing usability tests using multiple research methods.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills for presenting design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments, setting priorities based on user and business needs, and advancing projects with minimal oversight.
- Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and the ability to carry ideas from initial concept to launch within a fast-growing startup.
- Professional fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure to healthcare, dental, or regulated industries.
- Experience mentoring junior designers or establishing design systems at scale.
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation along with equity participation. Additional benefits include a 401k plan with employer matching, medical, dental, and vision coverage with 99 percent of employee premiums and 75 percent of dependent premiums covered, life and AD+D insurance, an optional HSA with employer contribution, eight weeks of paid parental leave, flexible PTO, company-paid holidays, an annual learning and development stipend, and a work-from-home stipend.
