The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping Overjet’s Practice products. You excel at simplifying complex workflows and are a hands-on designer who thrives on engaging with customers, incorporating their feedback, and collaborating closely with engineers and Product Managers to bring your ideas to life.

This role is based 1-2 days per week out of our Palo Alto office hub. 

Responsibilities

• Define and champion Overjet’s design principles and practices.
• Lead user research initiatives to inform UX design.
• Simplify complex dental practices, insurance workflows, and regulatory requirements into user-friendly experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Clinical Researchers to define problems, and prototype designs and user experiences.
• Inspire and support product teams to efficiently implement your UX vision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B enterprise software product design with a strong portfolio of end-to-end experience.
• Expertise in design principles and methodologies, including user-centered design, competitor analysis, user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Proficient in creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using Figma.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing usability testing through various methods.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize work based on user needs and business goals, and drive product ideas independently.
• Enthusiasm for learning, entrepreneurship, and taking projects from inception to launch in a high-growth startup environment.
