At Emerge, we are building a future where distance and time no longer prevent people from feeling truly connected. Our team is developing a groundbreaking product category that uses ultrasound forcefields to enable tactile sensations in the virtual world, allowing users to feel physical touch without the need for gloves or controllers. Founded in 2015 and based in Los Angeles, we are backed by prominent investors like M13, Vulcan Capital, and leaders from companies such as Google, Blizzard, and Twitch. We are currently seeking a Senior Producer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis to help us push the boundaries of the Metaverse and social wellness.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full production lifecycle, ensuring excellence from the initial concept phase through to the final launch.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules, identifying dependencies between internal teams and external partners to ensure all development goals are met on time.
- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders by providing regular updates on project status, potential risks, and strategic opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in software application or game development, with a proven track record of shipping one or more titles.
- Deep expertise in the full development lifecycle for AR/VR applications or PC, console, and mobile games.
- Demonstrated success as a Producer, specifically in managing cross-functional teams and navigating complex approval processes with IP partners.
- Strong proficiency in project management practices, software development workflows, and the ability to solve multifaceted problems in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, paired with a genuine passion for the future of the Metaverse and immersive technology.
