What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Privacy Engineer to join us in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a senior-level position where you will serve as a technical lead on our Privacy team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our architecture and privacy tools, ensuring our cloud services remain highly available and performant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about privacy-enhancing technologies and ready to make high-impact technical decisions for our systems.

What will you do?

Design, build, and maintain the back-end systems that power data compliance and privacy across our entire ecosystem, including tools that help other teams automate data protection.
Lead or participate in design reviews with your peers and stakeholders to evaluate and select the best technologies for our needs.
Triage, debug, and resolve complex product or system issues by analyzing their impact on our network, hardware, and service quality.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of professional software development experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. You should be comfortable working in English and possess a strong background in the following areas:

Expertise in designing and delivering scalable, highly-available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in back-end development using languages such as Java, Go, Python, or C#.
Experience with Information Security, System Design, and managing data pipelines.
Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
