We are Form Health, and we are dedicated to providing accessible medical treatment for obesity through our telehealth platform. Since launching four years ago, we have been working to bridge the gap for the millions of adults who need medical support for weight loss, and we are looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to help us scale our impact.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain clinical tools and back-end services using Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Node with AWS Lambda, GraphQL, and ReactJS.
- Lead experimentation and rapid product iteration to ensure our telemedicine services scale effectively.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of mobile, web, and data engineers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to refine business operations and improve patient outcomes through better tooling.
- Shape our technical strategy, including architectural decisions, hiring processes, and product roadmaps.
- Enhance our infrastructure on AWS, optimize Apollo Server APIs, and manage data modeling within PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
Must-haves
- Proven experience as a senior-level engineer in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in our core stack, including Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and Node.
- Deep understanding of GraphQL, AWS, and modern data modeling practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across our remote team.

Benefits
The base annual salary for this position is $130,000 to $190,000 USD.
