The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between our technology and our customers, providing an authoritative and enthusiastic technical perspective on the StrongDM platform. You will partner closely with our Sales organization to build trust with prospects, helping them understand how our solutions can solve their most complex security challenges. Your work will be instrumental in driving our growth and ensuring that every prospect sees the tangible value of our product.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with account executives to showcase the unique value of StrongDM, leading technical demonstrations and workshops that address specific prospect pain points.
• You will own the technical win by managing proofs of value and guided trials, ensuring that our solution perfectly aligns with the business objectives of our clients.
• You will serve as a technical advisor, coordinating with our internal Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to resolve technical hurdles and advocate for the needs of our users.

Who you are

You are a technically minded professional with a passion for cybersecurity and a drive to master new concepts. You communicate fluently in English and have a knack for turning complex technical ideas into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Your background includes:

• Strong experience with Privileged Identity Management and related network security technologies.
• Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• A consultative approach to discovery, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions that uncover the true needs behind a prospect's technical requirements.
• An analytical mindset that allows you to design scalable, effective solutions for a wide range of stakeholders.
• A willingness to dive into new technologies, even if they are outside your current area of expertise.
