The role
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this senior-level position, you will act as a force multiplier for our engineering organization. Your primary mission is to build and maintain the internal platform that allows our product teams to deliver high-quality software with speed and confidence. You will work closely with other engineers to remove operational friction, refine our delivery pipelines, and champion a culture of reliability and excellence.
Core responsibilities
- Design and evolve our internal engineering platform, including the development of robust CI/CD pipelines and the management of AWS infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code.
- Enhance the developer experience by identifying workflow bottlenecks, streamlining deployment processes, and building self-service tooling that empowers teams to ship code independently.
- Implement comprehensive observability strategies using tools like Datadog, while defining critical health metrics, SLOs, and alerting systems to ensure our production environment remains stable and performant.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building internal platforms. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related DevOps capacity.
- Proven expertise in managing production workloads on AWS and utilizing Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and PostgreSQL, alongside a solid understanding of modern CI/CD practices.
- A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to design for scale and improve complex engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
