We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Our organization focuses on building robust, scalable infrastructure and development pipelines that empower our engineering groups to deliver high-quality software. We operate primarily within the AWS ecosystem and are dedicated to modernizing our legacy systems by transitioning them into Docker containers. As a senior member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping our technical standards and driving the adoption of new, efficient technologies across the entire company.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain independent infrastructure and development pipelines while establishing engineering standards for the entire group.
- Manage and configure server instances using Terraform, Docker, and Ansible to support our growing cloud footprint.
- Develop automation scripts and microservices using Python, BASH, and Groovy to streamline developer workflows and improve system reliability.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in Cloud Infrastructure and a deep understanding of CI/CD processes. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proven expertise in managing AWS environments and implementing large-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python and BASH, alongside experience with Groovy.
- A track record of solving complex technical challenges and a proactive approach to improving existing systems and processes.
- The ability to review peer work and contribute to a collaborative software development environment.
- Fluency in English to effectively communicate within our distributed team.
