At Regrow, we are on a mission to reverse climate change by transforming the agriculture industry. Founded by pioneers in science and technology, we provide scalable solutions that combine agronomy, soil modeling, and artificial intelligence to help global food brands and farmers build a more resilient future. We currently monitor 1.2 billion acres of land, which represents 10 percent of the world's arable soil. With the support of top-tier investors like Microsoft’s Venture Fund and Galvanize Climate Solutions, we are actively turning farmland into a tool to cool the earth.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This position is specifically intended for candidates located within the AEDT time zone. As a senior member of our engineering organization, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing our internal developer platform, ensuring that our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and capable of supporting our rapid growth.
Core responsibilities
- Manage and operate our cloud infrastructure as we scale to meet increasing global demand.
- Enhance our observability stack and provide standardized toolchains for continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to mentor them on service reliability, security standards, and incident management processes.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps practices. We value candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Deep expertise in public cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, including networking and security best practices.
- Proven experience architecting and operating containerized infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK.
- Experience building robust observability systems, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions and a desire to help developers own their deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with MLOps, data pipelines, and modern web technologies like API gateways and proxies is highly preferred.
Compensation and benefits
We are proud to offer a flexible, remote-first work environment that allows our team members to contribute to our mission from anywhere within the required time zone.
