We are Orbem, an impact-driven deep-tech startup based in Munich, Germany. We specialize in developing fast and accurate imaging solutions that unlock new knowledge to help sustainably feed the world, accelerate the green economy, and improve disease detection. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position where you will play a vital role in building a resilient infrastructure that empowers our data, machine learning, and software teams to perform at their best.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain our GCP infrastructure to support our rapid growth and ensure high availability for our clients and edge devices.
- Enhance our observability platform using tools like Prometheus and Grafana to monitor performance and reliability across our systems.
- Drive automation and efficiency by implementing GitOps and CI/CD best practices, specifically utilizing GitLab CI and ArgoCD to optimize our software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience with cloud computing, specifically with GCP architecture.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform for managing scalable, version-controlled environments.
- Fluency in Linux systems and proficiency in programming with Go or Python.
- A strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Product-focused engineering environments.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on improving the developer experience and building self-service infrastructure.
What we offer
