Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position focused on our AWS ECS environment. You will be working in a hybrid capacity within the United States, collaborating closely with our engineering, security, and automation teams to keep our platform running at its best.

Your impact

• Take ownership of our AWS ECS infrastructure by managing task definitions, scaling policies, and service deployments to ensure high availability and security.
• Drive our DevOps strategy forward by implementing advanced CI/CD pipelines and championing best practices that align with our product roadmap.
• Build and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using industry-standard tools to ensure the health and performance of our containerized applications.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in cloud engineering and a deep understanding of container orchestration. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with 3+ years specifically focused on Docker and Kubernetes.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with AWS ECS.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python and experience using Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloudwatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Icinga, or Splunk.
• The ability to build operational dashboards using Grafana and a strong command of Git for version control.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative spirit for working in an agile environment.
