Senior Platform Engineer at Mejuri

Over the past seven years, our team has grown to be over 75% women, and we have successfully shipped more than one million orders while expanding our retail footprint across the globe. We are a diverse group of technologists, creatives, and strategists, and we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help us continue our mission of empowering customers to invest in themselves.

What you'll be doing

• You will design and manage our cloud infrastructure to ensure it remains highly available, scalable, and resilient as we grow.
• You will streamline our CI/CD pipelines and release management workflows to ensure that our engineering team can deploy features rapidly and safely.
• You will architect and maintain the development tools that empower our engineers to be more productive while scaling our observability stack to keep our services running smoothly.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with a strong background in Engineering, Cloud systems, and Infrastructure as Code. You should be comfortable working in a Hybrid environment based in Canada and possess the following qualifications:

• Deep expertise in Cloud platforms, specifically GCP services like GKE, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
• Strong proficiency with Containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• A solid grasp of Security Best Practices, including secret management and vulnerability scanning.
• Proven experience with Observability platforms and monitoring tools.
• Strong Scripting skills in languages like Python, Ruby, or Go.
• A background in System Administration and a collaborative approach to solving complex architectural challenges.
• Fluency in English.
