We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our international team and help us manage our private cloud infrastructure while fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure running on bare metal servers.
- Utilize GitOps workflows to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Empower our engineering teams to perform frequent, reliable software deployments.
- Monitor and optimize our cloud environment to ensure we meet all business requirements and service level agreements.
- Enforce security best practices and maintain high compliance standards.
- Resolve complex infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate on the long-term vision for our platform and provide mentorship to fellow engineers.
Must-haves
- Over 10 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years managing Kubernetes on bare metal using tools like Ansible or ArgoCD.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and at least one scripting language.
- Deep expertise in networking, specifically with Kubernetes CNIs.
- Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD principles and GitOps methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset with the capacity to mentor others.
- Full professional fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing distributed storage systems such as CEPH or Minio.
- Background in operating data-intensive services like PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse, or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with public cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
- A strong drive for automation and an interest in integrating AI into daily workflows and our SaaS platform.
- A results-oriented approach focused on defining and measuring key performance indicators.
