Senior Platform Engineer at Copy.ai

As a Series A startup with 50 team members, we offer a collaborative environment where you can perform career-defining work. We are currently seeking our first dedicated Senior Platform Engineer to build the interface that allows everyday people to interact with artificial intelligence.

Key outcomes

• Become a subject matter expert on our entire Workflow stack, managing everything from initial inputs and triggers to the final execution layer.
• Collaborate with our product and solutions teams to identify platform requirements and develop new features.
• Partner with solutions engineers to triage and resolve critical customer workflows.
• Expand the capabilities of our platform by building new integrations with third-party services.
• Develop both internal and external tools to streamline the process of building and debugging workflows.
• Monitor overall platform health and proactively identify or address widespread workflow issues.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in modern MVC stacks and ORMs, such as NextJS, Rails, or Laravel.
• Proven experience working with queues and event-based architecture.
• Ability to work during the core hours of 9am to 5pm, within any timezone from Pacific to Eastern.
• Current residency in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working with SaaS products, marketing tools, creator tools, or machine learning technologies.
