At Agiloft we are the most trusted global leader in data-first contract lifecycle management software. Our Data-first Agreement Platform helps organizations propose, negotiate, sign, and manage contracts with contract data at the core. Analysts at Gartner, Forrester, and IDC consistently rank us as a leader in the category, and our no-code platform is trusted by customers who report nearly 100 percent satisfaction with initial implementations and a 97 percent annual renewal rate. We are a growing company at the forefront of a market that organizations now consider essential.
The role
We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. This senior-level position focuses on designing, building, and scaling the cloud infrastructure that powers our enterprise contract platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, AI engineers, and fellow developers to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing services used by organizations worldwide.
Core responsibilities
- Build and maintain enterprise software applications while collaborating with product and design teams to create bottom-up solutions for novel challenges.
- Make architecture and cloud-engineering decisions, develop infrastructure-as-code stacks, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in incident response and disaster recovery, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or who bring equivalent professional experience. You should have at least five years of experience as a software engineer and be comfortable writing core application code in Python. Experience building modern, cloud-native applications with serverless technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, or DynamoDB is required, along with a strong command of version control using Git, relational databases and data modeling with Postgres, infrastructure-as-code in AWS using CloudFormation and SAM, RESTful API design, CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, and containerization with Docker and ECS. Proficiency using AI tools within the software development lifecycle, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, is also expected. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, along with a genuine interest in enterprise software and customer empathy, round out the profile.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package for U.S. employees that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and AD&D, supplemental life insurance for employees, spouses, and children, health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company match, flexible vacation for salaried employees, paid parental leave, and voluntary benefits such as pet insurance. We also provide floating holidays and a quarterly wellness day to support healthy work-life balance.
How to apply
If this opportunity aligns with your experience and interests, we encourage you to submit your application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline, and candidates from underrepresented groups, including minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, are especially welcome.
