The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our back-end focused team. This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the architecture of our platform, moving beyond simple application development to solve complex, large-scale problems. You will work within a modern tech stack centered on Python, Django, Celery, and Azure. Because we are already profitable and focused on long-term success, you will have the space to build high-quality, scalable systems that make a real difference for our clients.

A day in the life

• You will lead the design of new APIs, focusing on making our platform more scalable and performant as we handle increasing amounts of data.
• You will tackle complex integrations with major ad tech partners like Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat to ensure our platform remains at the cutting edge.
• You will take ownership of our asynchronous task management, optimizing how we handle concurrency and resource-intensive jobs using Celery.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with at least 6 years of background in building enterprise-level SaaS platforms. You have a deep understanding of distributed systems and are comfortable deploying and managing services within Azure. While we primarily use Python, we are happy to consider talented developers from other backgrounds who are eager to make the switch. You are someone who takes pride in owning an application from end to end, including writing robust test suites and managing CI/CD pipelines. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
