We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and help us continue pushing the boundaries of animation and VFX through technical innovation.
Role at a glance
We are searching for a Senior Pipeline TD to join our studio on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that supports our production teams by building robust software tools and making critical technical decisions. You will operate under a hybrid work model, and we are currently considering candidates based in Canada.
Your impact
- Design and build stable, scalable libraries, APIs, and production tools that keep our creative workflows running smoothly.
- Partner with artists, leads, and supervisors to implement optimized technical solutions that solve real-world production challenges.
- Mentor and coach fellow team members while documenting code and following established studio standards to ensure long-term project success.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in the animation or VFX industry and a passion for technical problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the VFX or animation sectors.
- Extensive development expertise using Python, along with a solid understanding of C++ and DCC APIs.
- Proven experience building tools for industry-standard software like Maya and Nuke.
- A deep understanding of the CG production process and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and creative teams.
Perks and compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD $69,000 to $84,000 per year. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
