We are currently looking for a talented Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our tight-knit team of 40 professionals at our office on Dampfærgevej in Copenhagen. You will be working alongside eight other dedicated IT specialists in an environment that values a relaxed atmosphere, independent decision-making, and a shared commitment to excellence.

The opportunity

This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a vital part in the evolution of our SaaS solutions. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between high-level architecture and practical implementation. You will have a seat at the table when it comes to design decisions and future technology choices, making this an ideal role for a developer who wants to influence the direction of our platform while growing their own technical expertise.

A day in the life

• You will spend your time building and refining our SaaS platforms, ensuring that every new feature we launch provides real value to our customers.
• You will focus on the stability and performance of our systems by conducting thorough testing, optimizing database structures, and maintaining high standards through code reviews.
• You will collaborate closely with your colleagues to plan and execute projects, using our core stack of PHP, Laravel, and MySQL to bring ideas to life.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer who understands object-oriented programming and MVC patterns inside and out. You take pride in your work, from the initial planning phase to the final implementation, and you are always mindful of performance and quality. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong professional experience with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• A solid grasp of REST APIs and database optimization techniques.
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• The ability to articulate your technical reasoning and a collaborative mindset that welcomes constructive feedback.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• A valid residence and work permit for Denmark.
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively within our team.
