We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our European team and help us scale our people operations.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Performance Development & People Partner to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Germany. This is a senior-level position that blends two core functions. Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to designing and operating our performance and talent development systems, while the remaining 30% will involve acting as a strategic People Business Partner for our leadership team. You will function as a builder and operator, creating scalable processes from the ground up and working closely with our leaders to ensure our workforce is prepared to meet our mission-critical objectives.
What will you do?
- Lead and evolve our performance framework, including feedback cycles, promotion processes, and calibration, to ensure talent development aligns with our business goals.
- Develop and implement leadership and management training programs tailored to our fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide guidance on organizational design, talent planning, and leadership effectiveness while leveraging people analytics to drive strategic decisions.
What makes you a great fit?
You are an entrepreneurial operator who thrives on moving quickly from design to execution. We are looking for someone who brings the following skills and qualities:
- Proven experience in performance development, organizational effectiveness, or HR business partnering, ideally within the technology, defence, or aerospace sectors.
- A background in a tier 1 management consulting firm, specifically at the Engagement Manager level or higher.
- A track record of building and scaling performance systems across multiple functions and international locations.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to support leaders who are working under significant pressure.
- An analytical mindset that allows you to use data to inform your strategy and implement pragmatic solutions.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
Joining Helsing means working with world-leading experts on unique technical challenges that have a meaningful impact on the world. Beyond the mission, we offer the following benefits:
- Equity compensation.
- Relocation assistance.
- Paid time off.
- Company retreats to bring our European teams together.
- A flexible, hybrid work environment.
