Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our Information Technology department on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level role that requires you to be on-site at our offices. You will play a critical part in protecting our on-premises and cloud-based systems while collaborating with our cybersecurity and customer service teams to maintain a secure environment.
Your impact
- Take the lead on managing our multi-platform perimeter security, with a primary focus on Palo Alto technologies.
- Architect and administer core network and security services to support our GCP and Azure public cloud environments.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities across our entire tech stack to improve security, productivity, and system resiliency.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone with 6 to 8 years of experience in network, systems, or security engineering. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and core network protocols.
- Deep knowledge of the Windows operating system, paired with a solid working knowledge of Linux.
- A DevSecOps mindset with proficiency in Python and PowerShell for task automation.
- Familiarity with VMWare, Kubernetes, and site-to-site VPN configurations.
- The ability to work from the office four days a week and travel as needed for spring training operations or remote site support.
