The role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a mid-level position that requires you to work onsite at our Orlando or Melbourne, Florida offices at least four days per week. You will be instrumental in maintaining our technical infrastructure and ensuring our systems remain resilient and efficient.

Core responsibilities

• Design, configure, and install critical network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, while maintaining our Cisco-centric environment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues, serving as a lead advisor for our disaster recovery planning and testing processes.
• Provide hands-on technical support for our virtualized environment and LAN/WAN operations, while helping to prioritize the daily tasks of our Tier I Help Desk team.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a desire to solve complex problems. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with 1 to 3 years of experience, or 5 to 7 years of relevant IT experience for non-degreed applicants.
• An active CCNA certification is required, while a CCNP or CCIE is strongly preferred.
• Proven expertise with Cisco technologies, including Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, along with strong Command-Line Interface skills.
• Experience managing VMWare environments and a solid understanding of network analysis tools and troubleshooting best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a professional manner.

Compensation and benefits

The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $142,000, with an additional opportunity for an annual bonus target of 15% of eligible earnings. We invest in our employees through a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
