The role
We are hiring a Senior .NET Core Developer on a contractor basis. The position is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere. You will join an existing delivery team to design, build, and deploy the cloud backend for a mobile health application that manages pain through a connected Bluetooth device.
Core responsibilities
- Design and implement a set of standard application APIs and backend services that support education, support features, and device control for the mobile application.
- Build and maintain the development, QA, and production environments, including Infrastructure as Code, so the services can be deployed reliably across multiple stages.
- Collaborate daily with the delivery manager, mobile developer, and technical architect while participating in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and troubleshooting of technical or operational issues.
Skills and experience
You bring at least five years of hands-on experience with Azure, .NET Core, and C#. You have deployed backend applications to AWS, built RESTful or mobile-facing APIs, and written Infrastructure as Code. Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO/IEC 27001 is required, along with proven experience working in agile teams where you create, commit, and review code. Strong debugging skills and clear communication complete the profile. English fluency is essential.
