We are currently seeking a Senior MS Power BI Developer to join our team on a contractor basis. Responsibilities
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications and project timelines.
- Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts while performing deep data analysis to drive insights.
- Optimize existing business intelligence systems and design new ETL procedures to improve overall performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in data analytics and software development. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Extensive commercial experience working with the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSRS, T-SQL, Power Query, MDX, and DAX.
- Deep understanding of data security, including row-level security and application security layer models.
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, React, MongoDB, and Node.js.
- Experience with backend development, microservices, and frontend integration.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and our clients.
- Familiarity with other BI tools like Tableau or SAP is considered a plus.
