Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere. You will play a key role in our transition to platform-native technology as we move away from React Native to build our next generation of mobile applications.
Your impact
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of our new Android application using Kotlin.
- Ensure our Android rollout follows the high standards and patterns established by our existing iOS platform.
- Collaborate closely with our backend teams to ensure smooth integration and high-quality performance for our users.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a strong communicator who is comfortable working in an English-speaking environment. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional engineering experience.
- Proven track record as a senior or lead engineer on native Android projects.
- Deep expertise with Kotlin, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience successfully shipping and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
- A strong ability to work effectively with backend development teams.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Swift, SwiftUI, iOS development, or backend work using JavaScript.
Perks and compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of 72,000 to 96,000 USD per year. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
