What is this role?

We are searching for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a founding member of our mobile engineering efforts, you will play a pivotal role in building our very first iOS and Android applications. This is a senior-level position where you will help shape our technical practices and contribute to a brand-new codebase, all while working to make mental health services more accessible to patients everywhere.

What will you do?

• Collaborate closely with our staff mobile engineer, product managers, and designers to launch impactful, patient-facing mobile features.
• Take ownership of the development process for our new mobile platform, ensuring high-quality code and a seamless user experience.
• Establish and refine our engineering standards, including mobile infrastructure, testing protocols, and CI/CD pipelines.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building mobile products. We value candidates who bring the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in mobile development.
• Proven expertise in React Native and a track record of shipping production features for iOS or Android.
• A disciplined approach to debugging, testing, and maintaining high code quality.
• The ability to work effectively across different teams to deliver complex projects.
• Bonus points if you have experience with native modules in Swift or Kotlin, or if you have helped build mobile products from the ground up.
