The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to take ownership of our iOS applications. These apps serve as the primary interface for our construction teams in the field, powering essential workflows like AI-driven job logs, work verification, and real-time site data management. You will act as the technical lead for our mobile architecture, collaborating with our product and engineering teams to transform complex construction processes into seamless, intuitive mobile experiences. This is a foundational role where you will help set the standard for quality, performance, and developer experience while contributing directly to our mission.

A day in the life

• You will lead the technical design and implementation of sophisticated features, focusing specifically on offline-first workflows and reliable data synchronization.
• You will partner with our product, design, and operations teams to translate messy, real-world field challenges into clean, consumer-grade mobile solutions.
• You will mentor fellow engineers and influence our mobile architecture, API contracts, and data models to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with over seven years of professional software experience, including at least five years dedicated to building and shipping mobile applications. You possess a deep technical foundation and a passion for creating high-quality software. Your background includes:

• Expertise in native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI.
• A proven track record of leading projects from concept to production, with a strong grasp of mobile UI and UX best practices.
• Experience building offline-first applications that handle complex local data and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with shipping intelligent features, such as those driven by AI or machine learning.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where ownership and technical judgment are key.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with GraphQL is considered a significant plus.
