We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis in Portugal. Key outcomes

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
• Design and implement high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
• Manage the migration of our mobile infrastructure from Ionic to React Native while maintaining a seamless user experience.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to the team.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to define mobile design decisions that align with our long-term goals.
• Implement robust security practices and address vulnerabilities within our mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions for CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development workflows.
• Participate actively in our Agile Scrum framework to foster a responsive and dynamic development environment.

Requirements

• Five or more years of hands-on experience in mobile development, specifically with React Native.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and a strong background in architecting complex mobile solutions.
• Proven experience leading technical migration projects, particularly from Ionic to React Native.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience with database development, specifically SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Strong proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level mobile solutions.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET web development to support frontend and backend integration.
• Familiarity with other cross-platform frameworks such as Xamarin or .NET Maui.
• Prior experience working within the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with project management tools like Jira.
