Clean Crop Technologies is on a mission to revolutionize agriculture by eliminating crop loss at the source. Our award-winning Clean Current technology uses cold plasma to remove pathogens from seeds, which improves food safety and increases yields in a sustainable, residue-free way. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our headquarters in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and integration of critical subassemblies, including material handling, thermal management, and plasma treatment systems.
- Serve as the lead engineer on product development projects to research, scale, and commercialize our core technology initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members to help grow their technical skills while overseeing the assembly and commissioning of production equipment.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience, specifically with a track record of project leadership or supervision.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as Solidworks, Fusion 360, or Inventor, with the ability to translate designs into technical documentation.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, and quality systems.
- Proven ability to design and manufacture complex electro-mechanical systems and manage relationships with fabrication vendors.
