Clarehill Associates Ltd is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
We are a rapidly growing, innovative design engineering firm specializing in technical solutions for the energy sector. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom, where you will collaborate closely with our electronics and sensor specialists to develop cutting-edge products.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design efforts for our new survey design engineering products.
- Manage the full lifecycle of field tests, starting from the initial design phase through to data interpretation.
- Represent our technical expertise to clients, demonstrating how our innovative approach provides a competitive advantage.
- Work on-site to ensure high-quality design outcomes for our specialized projects.
Must-haves
- A degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering.
- Proven experience in 3D CAD software.
- Practical knowledge of working with both plastic and metal materials.
- Specific experience designing products intended for harsh environments.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Exposure to the design of equipment such as data loggers, sensors, batteries, or seismic and hydrophone technology.
- Experience within the oil and gas or surveying industries.
