Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Possible Finance

Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our Platform Team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the Seattle area who can join us at our downtown office. You will be responsible for the technical foundation that powers our financial products, overseeing everything from infrastructure and deployment systems to developer experience and core shared components.

Your impact

• Lead and mentor a talented group of platform engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering leaders across the organization to prioritize platform initiatives and establish high technical standards for our systems.
• Oversee the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, containerization strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure our products remain secure, scalable, and reliable.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in both infrastructure and product development. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between complex system architecture and high-quality product delivery.

• At least 5 years of engineering management experience, ideally leading both product and platform teams.
• Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD systems.
• Hands-on experience building customer-facing products using Java and React Native.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools and observability systems.
• A proven track record of cross-team collaboration and the ability to influence technical decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience working in distributed, multi-time zone environments.

Perks and compensation
