Senior Manager, SAP Finance Team Lead at YETI

We are Built for the Wild, and we are looking for a Senior Manager, SAP Finance Team Lead to help us continue that mission.

In this role, you will lead critical initiatives within our Finance Systems and Integrations space. You will act as the primary subject matter expert for SAP Finance processes and procedures, overseeing a team of internal and external resources. You will also collaborate closely with other SAP teams, such as SD and MM/PP, to deliver robust functionality. Our Enterprise Systems team is currently undergoing a multi-year evolution toward a team-of-teams structure, and this position is expected to transition into a Solution Architect role in the future.

Key outcomes

• Direct and manage the daily work efforts of internal and external Finance team members.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their career development and performance growth.
• Partner with the Enterprise Systems lead to optimize team capacity and capabilities.
• Lead the design and configuration of finance applications, ensuring high quality and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and translate technical concepts into effective solution models.
• Oversee the management of finance master data and provide support for troubleshooting, incident resolution, and system upgrades.
• Develop work scope and request for proposal documentation to effectively engage technology partners.

Requirements

• A mandatory Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise System technologies, specifically SAP Finance in an enterprise environment.
• At least 4 years of experience leading teams, including the management of both internal and external resources.
• Deep expertise in the SAP tech stack, including SAP S/4HANA and core finance modules like General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A.
• Proven ability to evolve an SAP landscape to achieve global business results.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions, architectures, and cloud security principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred qualifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certifications.
• Knowledge of connected capabilities such as Vertex, SAP Payment Gateway, and international rollouts.
• Familiarity with cross-functional processes like Lead to Cash, Supply Chain, Integrated Business Planning, and Advanced Available to Promise.
• Experience supporting Sales and Distribution and Logistics Execution areas.
