Empowerly is an education technology company dedicated to democratizing college admissions through a blend of expert coaching and data-driven software. With 30 million dollars in total funding, including a recent 15 million dollar round led by Conductive Ventures, we are currently scaling our services and expanding our remote-first team. We are looking for a Senior Manager of Events Marketing to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead our event strategy across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats to help connect students to our mission while driving measurable growth for our business.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with our broader marketing and sales objectives, ranging from regional field campaigns to national conferences.
- Partner closely with our sales team to ensure events effectively generate qualified leads and accelerate the pipeline through targeted outreach and seamless follow-up.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of events, including budget oversight, vendor negotiations, logistics, and the integration of AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in event marketing with a proven track record of success in various event formats.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with an MBA considered a plus.
- Strong proficiency in CRM and marketing platforms, specifically HubSpot, to manage event reporting and lead capture.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across marketing, sales, and analytics teams.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate event performance into actionable insights and scalable playbooks.
- Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and experience in the edtech or mission-driven sectors is highly valued.
